Confessions of My Life

Recently I've hit a dry spell in my walk with my heavenly Father. Being at a worship night tonight with my high schoolers help me realize how lost I've become. Believing in the lies Satan has me believing.

*I'm not a good enough wife
*I'm not a good dgroup leader
*I just need to be negative to fit in at work
*I'm not a strong enough person
*no one cats about me

The list could go on... But these are just lies and I cannot go on like this!!

Here's my heart Lord... Here's my life Lord...Speak what is true!

I'm crying out to you Lord!!

I keep saying I'll do my quiet time in the mornings but right now, teaching is my priority... And it shouldn't be... But I can't seem to get out of this rut I've dug myself into. All I want to do is cry...

Morning Devotional

I know I've shared this before but I think it's a good reminder to live your life full of joy. I know I felt the difference from seeing a beautiful sunrise to then having to deal with troublemakers yesterday. Purposefully find joy today and praise God for it.

Monday evening we adopted a little 8 week old Blue Heeler so that Sitka could have a playmate.

First Marathon

Phoenix Marathon and this was my first. Awesome time with a sinus infection and an injured knee. Official time 5:33. Not bad for the first time:)
