I love being married!!! I had a friend who once said "It's like a sleepover every night" when asked how married life was. I totally agree with her!! It is so nice that at night I get to say good night to the man that I love and not have to leave him. We will be approaching 2 months next week and I feel like our wedding was months ago...and I think that is a great feeling. Dustin makes me feel so comfortable and that is of course why he makes me so happy:)
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast, it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends... 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
Dustin and I have less than 4 months until we make our commitment before God and I cannot wait!!!!! As more and more details get taken care of the closer I realize it is. What once was only a dream for me to be marrying my true friend, is becoming a reality. I get to grow old with this persons, live a life spreading God's Word with this person, have children with this person...but I think the most important part for me is that I will have someone by my side at all times...I realize I am not alone with God in my life but Dustin keeps me accountable for what I am doing; and I hope I am keeping him accountable as best as I can.
We even our closest friends that will be standing by our sides while we make our commitment! Candace, my best friend for over 18 years, Amy, my college buddy, Jennifer another college and Young Life buddy, Lisa, my friend who helped me through Czech and hope we can keep her since she is graduating the same night, and Mackenzie, who has been a friend through my transition into a very tight group in Living Room. Austin, Dustin's best friend for almost the same years, Shane, our photographer friend, Ethan, funny guy, and Tyler, Kenzie's husband but also another friend that has been there for us.
