1 Year Anniversary
I cannot believe it has been a year since I got to marry the wonderful man named Dustin. Every day just amazes me what God has given us and hope God will continue to guide us.
We decided it was the end of another semester and we just had to get out of town. Dustin suggested that we do something that we did on our honeymoon. So we headed to Santa Barbara, CA and toured Solvang, about 40 min north of Santa Barbara.
Had a tunnel to go through, fun!
Of course had to bring my shoes:)
Lovely European streets and buildings.
Yummy German food, but mom def makes the better red cabbage:)

Danish goods in the park, does make a perfect time for a nap!

Sunday morning, we kayaked in the Santa Barbara harbor as well as some of the ocean...only pics of when we were taking breaks of course due to the waves and wind being pretty hard.

Spring Break...really a break?

Monday morning, the work began on the backyard to check all the dripping system
Realized we had to pull out some plants since the roots went into the hose of the dripping system.
I planted in the front yard as well.
Tom and Dustin installed the fan above our dinner table to just add to our projects

Thursday, the ground was tilled
Friday began the grass laying
Saturday finished the grass
Enjoyed a steak and pasta salad dinner in our newly planted yard
